Brake pads and brake rotors are wear items and as such, should be inspected regularly and replaced as necessary.  Are you experiencing thumping while braking?  Its time to have your rotors checked! Warped rotors (from heat and friction) are the major cause of this and can compromise your vehicle’s braking ability.

The front brakes do most of the work as the vehicle’s weight pushes forward while stopping.  If your brakes are working properly, you should not be able to hear them.  One of the first indications of an issue is when you hear screeching, grinding or squealing.  Letting this problem go will put undue stress on the rest of your braking system, resulting in more costly repairs.
